This frozen yogurt smoothie recipe combines brain-boosting Omega-3 fatty acids with fruit and yogurt for a super quick and super healthy breakfast.
Omega-3 Pineapple-Strawberry Smoothie
1 1/2 cups chilled pineapple juice
2 Tbsp. flax oil
4 Tbsp. plain or vanilla yogurt
2 cups frozen strawberries
Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree to a smooth consistency. Add ice cubes as desired to put the “frozen” in this frozen yogurt smoothie. Enjoy!
Hey, I was reading your post and I just wanted to say thank you for putting out such excellent content. There is so much crap on the internet these days its hard to find anything worthwhile. I actually have cooked this recipe before and it turned out quite nice! I’m extremely eager to try your variation of it though, it looks fantastic. Thanks for the article and great ideas.
Thanks for that. My son has a total aversion to eating raw fruit for some reason, so I made the fruit into smoothies for him and then he can’t get enough of it! I also found some great smoothie recipes here and thought I’d share – lots of other great ideas there.
